  28. By trying another modem, do you mean that you've tried a differend brand
  29. and model?

  31. You may want to do that first.

  33. Also, be sure that your serial port is set to 38.4k MINIMUM. That is a
  34. requirement for connecting any faster than 14.4 with your SPortster.
